 MOSQUITO Ultra-sonic Youth Crowd Dispersal System can The Cooper Security MOSQUITO Ultra-sonic crowd dispersal system generates a pulsed, near ultra-sonic tone at around 16KHz, close to the limit of the hearing range of people under 25 years of age. The sound, though not painful in any way, becomes highly annoying after five or so minutes exposure. The usual effect is that under 25s leave the immediate area. The unit complies with the HSE 2005 Guidelines and is widely used by UK police and local authorities. Typical areas of use are outside shop entrances, school grounds and residential areas.
